I don't know if it has to do with my obsession for masculine style or  the fact that man's collection by versace for h&m is really better than woman's, but I found more pieces that I would easily wear on man's collection... One of these is this pair of trousers above. I match them with a burgundy knit from zara, a studded clutch and a pair of boyish shoes. Here is the dilemma: slippers for zara or oxfords for  h&m? What would you choose?

Today I attended a fashion event called "The fashion room service - Athens (2nd edition)" that, as you may understood from the video above, 18 designers were hosted in 18 rooms that used as showrooms.  Fresh and innovative ideas were spread all over the place. Some of them, that really intrigued me, are posted here... Hope you 'll enjoy it!!

From the entrance to the room imagination seemed to be present. A basket full of skeins ends to a huge needle, placed on the bed... wow!
As it is expected, beautiful bags and clothes were made by these tools... My friend Evi and I feel strongly attracted to these fantastic bags... Soft leather and zippers as ending detail make a super combination.. the last photo of those is a sample of different colors to combine in order to make your unique bag.. respect..!

40sqm Refurbishment/ SFARO Architects

As you may have noticed my love to small spaces and especially to small apartments, here is another one example of those. It is designed by SFARO architects in Tel-Aviv, Israel. It is a renovation of an existing apartment that its owner decided to transform her studio apartment into a 1 bedroom, including storage units, a large separate kitchen and a full size queen bedroom.

Architects say: "As a design solution, we chose to condense all the programmatic functions and storage units into a cube which was centered in the middle of the space, thus dividing the apartments into 4 zones, while maintaining a 360 degree circulation around it, which makes the space seem endless and bigger than it actually is. By adding sliding doors that disappear into the cube, the space can be altered according to the time of day and the various needs of the owner, contributing further more to the sense of a multi-functional and multi-layered space".

In the year 2008 a new and funky designing company has been launched by Fabienne Michaud and Bertrand Calis in the land of Morocco. The portfolio of this company reveals many projects like concept store, hotels, restaurants, offices and houses. The experienced Dum Dum design is well learned in the areas of space and object. They bothered the detailed work by using all the ingredients to follow a professional architecture building track. By remaining in the budget the 350 sqm enclosure in Arve, France has established a home extremely cheerful and fun loving in its sense. The house welcomes with the glass corridors that mark the space in the house and is decorated with sleek and comfy cushions and modern loungers. The perfect ceiling lights are emerged all the way to the rooms and are enhancing the interior inside. The designer has used the geometrical and flowing style of furnishings placed in the living room as well as in the dinning room. The old traditional Savoyard architecture is also emerged with local materials like black and white granite...
From all the perspectives the indoor is a bright open space. All the rooms are organized to utilize a proper space according to the sun cycle. The designer has placed the rest rooms in the East and living and activities rooms in the West and South. The main bedroom has a large dressing-room and an attached bathroom.The day light flushes in side by the curtains and gives a natural sensation to the lounge. The main living area can bee seen from multiple places with the addition of book shelves and a large poster which is basically a sliding frame that filters the light. The designer says: “I love my home because people who come here for the first time feel immediately comfortable”.

The last 31 hours  I had a great time with my closest friend joe who visited Athens as a break of her everyday routine...I wish I could hold her here... when we are together (the two of us + aimilie, who is the other one of my closest friend from university) I feel like a kid again...maybe an older one, but still a kid...hahahaha!!! Already miss you gkomenaki!!!

I think today is the 1st winter day...LOvE this season more than any other... layers, textures, more layers and even more textures are the key for a stylish outfit...don't you agree??
